Could an Old Favorite Family Restaurant Be Reopening in Abilene?
I heard a rumor earlier this week, and I was asking myself, is it true? Is Logan’s Roadhouse really returning back to Abilene? After all, they had filed for bankruptcy. So I thought I would do some research and find out. I called the CEO Jim Mazany.
Logan’s Roadhouse is one of my favorites because of the fact that they carry my favorite cut of steak my all-time favorite is a huge Porterhouse cut steak grilled over seasoned Mesquite wood, Yum Yum. Then there's their bread, and cinnamon rolls too.
Is the Rumor True That 'Logan's Roadhouse in Abilene is Reopening?'
Come to find out from Logan’s Public Relations representative Cami Studebaker, she confirmed that yes, Logan’s Roadhouse will be returning to Abilene this year and just in time for the upcoming holidays.
The best news that Cami could share with me is that yes logan’s Roadhouse will be reopening in their same old location near the corner of Southwest Drive and South Clack Street, 3126 S. Clack Steet to be exact.

“We’re excited to reintroduce Logan’s mesquite wood-grilled favorites, big barrels of beer, delicious rolls and friendly atmosphere to the Abilene community,” said Logan’s CEO Jim Mazany. “We have some Roadhouse Feast specials planned for the holidays, so be sure to keep an eye out! We can’t wait to celebrate with the community while supporting the efforts of local veterans to provide for the children in Abilene during the holiday season.”
Will Logan's Roadhouse be open on the Actual Holidays in Abilene?
Another of Logan's spokespersons Kristen told me that the reason that Logan's is reopening in its old location is that the remodel won’t take long and Logan's plans to be open on Thanksgiving Day serving in the restaurant and curbside with thanksgiving meals of turkey, dressing and all the trimmings.
Logan’s Roadhouse is planning on opening just in time for the holidays. Because they want to host Christmas parties and help out some of our local charities. Roadhouse will be a toy drop-off location to assist the local USMC with their Big Country toy drive.
