Drunk Woman Knocks, Asks For Ride Home

Abilene police pretty much see it all when they're out on patrol, even on a weeknight.  The Abilene Reporter News has a story about an intoxicated woman knocking on doors last night......to ask for a ride home.

The woman was on Amarillo street, where the calling party said she was knocking on the door and yelling, "Let me in, I want to go home!"   When police arrived, the woman was gone, but another call came in just down the street describing the exact same scenario.

The APD ended up arresting a very intoxicated 19 year old female, and giving her a ride to a temporary 'home' at the jail.  Hey, at least she wasn't driving!  (via reporternews.com)
