Elvis’ Wedding – Another ‘Royal’ Event 44 Years Ago This Weekend (5/01/67) [VIDEO]

There was another 'royal' wedding that happened 44 years ago this weekend.  On April 1st, 1967 the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley married Priscilla Beaulieu in a short 8-minute ceremony in Vegas.  The marriage would last a little over 5 years.  There were only about 100 invited guests, who enjoyed a big spread of southern food for the reception including Elvis favorites fried chicken, ham, and eggs, as well as more gourmet dishes like Oysters Rockefeller.  Here's a short video of the occasion:
