I love this time of year.  The NFL playoff games are lined up this weekend with key matchups on Saturday and Sunday.

As much as I enjoy it, I know it's also just about over.  I believe I literally have withdrawal symptoms during the six months plus that there's no football.

NFL Network is great when you need a quick fix, but it's just not the same as settling in for a full afternoon of live NFL action.

The one that looks to be the best is the Steelers vs. the Ravens.  These guys don't like each other, and the hits are expected to be bone crunching.  Two awesome defenses doing what they do best; inflicting pain.

I was surprised to see the Seahawks get past the Wild Card round.  And the Packers might just surprise everybody, including the odds makers.

So here is the schedule:

Saturday, January 15th

Ravens at Steelers  3:30pm (CBS)

Packers at Falcons 7:00pm (FOX)

Sunday, January 16th

Seahawks at Bears  12:00N (FOX)

Jets at Patriots  3:30pm (CBS)

Enjoy the games, and since I'm a Cowboys fan, I'm not making picks.  Nice to be able to watch these playoffs for what they are; top notch football. (schedule and info via FoxSports.com)
