Happy 71st Birthday Neil Diamond! [VIDEO]

Neil Diamond is 71 years old today (January 24th, 2012).  Neil has had an incredible career not only as a singer and dynamic live artist, but as a songwriter.  Neil Diamond songs fueled gold records for The Monkees during the mid '60s, scoring a number one hit for them with 'I'm A Believer'.

And finally last year, he got a well deserved induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.  He continues to write and record too.  His critically acclaimed '12 Songs' debuted at Number Four on the Billboard charts in November of 2005, marking his highest debut ever.  And in 2008, 'Home Before Dark' went all the way to Number One and received a Gold Record award for sales over 500,000 copies.  Check out the title song from that album below as Neil Diamond performs 'Home Before Dark':
