Hockey Player Makes Insane Diving Save — And He’s Not Even a Goalie
Here's a save so sick, so improbable, so insane you're going to watch it more than once. Or twice. Heck, you might watch it double digit times.
During the Binghamton Senators-St. John's IceCaps game on Saturday, IceCaps right winger Bud Holloway made a save on what seemed like a certain goal off the stick of the the Senators' Cole Schneider.
Holloway lunged to ever-so-slightly deflect the shot with his stick.
The Senators were up 3-1 at the time and would tack on another score to complete the 4-1 win. So, even though the IceCaps lost, they're going to get all the ink because this play was really off the charts.
Holloway is having a terrific year, with 44 points and 15 goals. He's played in one game for the Canadiens this season.
