A Remarkable New Study Just Revealed the Cleanest Air Hotspots in Texas
For a guy like me who's asthmatic, this is great news: Texas has over 100 places to vacation with some of the cleanest air in the US. Why am I not surprised? My opinion, Texas is a pretty clean state; granted lately, it's been feeling a lot like a desert.
Nonetheless, if you want to find a place where you can catch a breath of fresh air, Texas has your back. The study titled "Breath of Fresh Air" shows there are a lot of vacation spots with the "Cleanest Air" around the US. Not surprisingly, the majority of them are in Alaska and Hawaii.
However, Texans can breathe easier too, reassured by the fact that our Texas air surpasses the rest. This air quality assessment has been ongoing for the past five years, with the results finally unveiled to the public.

The air in North America has been steadily worsening over the past few years. The American Lung Association's 2023 "State of the Air" report revealed that over 137 million Americans were exposed to unhealthy levels of air pollution in 2020, a significant increase from 130 million in 2019.
So, a little home out on the flatlands of West Texas is not such a bad idea after all. Take a deep breath, fellow Texans, and savor some fresh air.
