‘Jeopardy’ Host Alex Trebek Injured Chasing Burglar [VIDEO]

Alex Trebek was mad, REALLY mad when a burglar broke into his hotel room earlier this week (July 25th). In fact he was mad enough to chase down the burglar. He didn't catch her. Trebek injured an achilles tendon in his chase and fell, injuring the other leg. The female burglar was actually caught, arrested, and charged in the attempt at the San Francisco hotel.

The 71-year old Trebek was asked about the incident when he showed up on crutches at a National Geographic event at Google headquarters. He told the whole story and indicated he was feeling fine. You don't mess with Alex Trebek. I can hear it now on a future Jeopardy. 'I'll take crime fighting game show hosts for 500 Alex.'
