Keith Richards And Mick Jagger Working On Solo Albums

It looks like we might see a new Keith Richards solo album later this year. Spinner.com is reporting that Keith is in the studio laying down some tracks. This would be the first solo effort for Keith in almost 20 years. His Main Offender album came out in 1992.

Likewise Mick Jagger is recording material for an album that will be his first in a decade. Goddess In The Doorway came out in 2001. Mick is working with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame. Dave has a pretty hot hand right now, just finishing production duties on the new Stevie Nicks album released today (May 3rd).

So I guess we won't see a new Rolling Stones album this year. However, they are still talking about a tour, which might be postponed until some time in 2012. Check the details on Keith's new solo album at Spinner.com.
