A new book on the life of Mick Jagger is out today (September 8th).  The book is titled  Jagger: Rebel, Rock Star, Rambler, Rogue. Written  by noted author Marc Spitz, the biography promises to shed new light on the rock star's life, if that's possible after all these years.

Among the burning questions answered in the book:  What is the Carly Simon story?,  What was untrue about Keith Richards 'Life'?, and Did Mick have ulterior motives for being a rock star beyond love for the music?

I'm not sure that any book on Mick Jagger will be revelatory.  The story of the Rolling Stones has been looked at from so many different angles in print and on screen over almost five decades.  But you never know.

The book is being spun as a sort of counterpoint to Keith Richards' hugely successful autobiography 'Life', and promises to present the other side of the story.  In any case, September is shaping up to be a big month for Mick.  On the 18th of this month, the new album from his new band 'Super Heavy' will be released, featuring the considerable talents of Joss Stone, Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, and Damien Marley.
