Oprah Shuts Down Rumors – Tina Turner Did Not Suffer a Stroke

Rumors have been surfacing that legendary singer Tina Turner has suffered a stroke while in Switzerland. Apparently, those rumors are false, and none other than Oprah Winfrey has stepped up to clear the air.

Oprah and Tina are fairly close friends. Winfrey flew to Switzerland to be a one of only 120 guests at Turner's wedding last summer to longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach. The 1991 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has kept her main residence there for the past 20 years.

In other Tina Turner news, her compilation CD, 'Love Songs' hit stores earlier this month, and features 18 songs spanning Tina's 50+ year career in music.
