Rescue the Animals Is Holding an Emergency Cat Adoption [GALLERY]

A local area humane society had to close it's doors when they had to vacate the building they operated out of. While most of the animals were adopted out, twenty cats remained.

Abilene's Rescue the Animals took in the remaining 20 cats in and must now find homes for them. The 'Emergency Cat Adoption' will be held at PetSmart July 15th through July 17th, 2016.

Paul Washburn with Rescue the Animals says "all the cats are very sweet and have been fixed and vaccinated." With the increased number of kittens born this year, these 20 cats really need our help finding a new home.
