Now that Upfronts 2015 have entered the scheduling phase, we thought most of the major renewals, cancellations and pickups had delivered their biggest surprises. Not so apparently, as FOX has decided to put American Idol out to pasture after 15 seasons, ending the reality singing competition for good next year.

Universal has released its 'The Boy Next Door' trailer, proving once again that 45-year-old Jennifer Lopez is still one hot tamale. We've seen her steam up our computer screens with that music video for "I Luh Yah Papi," in which she manhandled all her numerous boy toys, but now she's in way too deep with her smokin' hot but super-underage next-door neighbor.

The "ALS Ice Bucket Challenge" phenomenon finally caught on with celebrities over the weekend...in a major way. A ton of them did it, including: Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Steven Spielberg, Oprah and even 86-year-old Ethel Kennedy!

Imagine a mythical land -- a small town, really -- where there's only room for just one inhabitant to sport some tight, tight pants. How would people challenge each other for tight-pants supremacy? Last night on 'The Tonight Show,' just such a showdown hit the screen, when host Jimmy Fallon deluded himself into thinking his tight pants could somehow prove to be better, badder and tighter than Jennifer Lopez's tight pants.

The dynamic duo apparently had one heck of a J-Lo-centric plan after this year's Oscar ceremony, a dazzling routine of dancing and charm that was meant to end with Fallon and Lawrence presenting themselves to Jennifer Lopez herself, declaring, "Dance with us!"

American Idol premiered this week and people are talking. Talking about the new judges panel that is! Keith Urban returns but with two new judges. Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez is back.
