Tribute EP 'Dolenz Sings R.E.M.' comes out Nov. 3.

Last remaining member of the group is highlighting 1967's 'Headquarters' on current tour.

“You could never, never have talked him out of the tour,” says Monkees bandmate Micky Dolenz.

He thought "theatrical" nature of psychedelic band would be a good match.

Micky Dolenz of the Monkees will be headlining this year's 'Happy Together' tour. This one is always a lot of fun. Other performers include The Turtles, Grass Roots, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and The Buckinghams.

Here they come. The Monkees are reuniting and touring for their 45th anniversary. Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, and Peter Tork will start the tour with a series of dates in Europe before scheduling summer dates in the U.S.
