After a year and a half of no live theater and no live plays, it’s time to get back into the swing of things with help from our friends at Celebrity Attractions, and the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council's Broadway Series. "BUDDY: The Buddy Holly Story" will make its Abilene premiere Tuesday, September 21st at 7:30 PM at the Abilene Convention Center at 1100 North 6th Street.

The show "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" is the most popular show of 2015, 2016, and 2018. Tickets to the Abilene show go on sale Thursday, August 23rd at 10 AM and are available via phone at 800-869-1415 or online at CelebrityAttractions.com.

Buddy Holly's music crossed all lines from Rythm and Blues to Pop-40 to Rock-N-Roll, everyone was singing the songs that Buddy put out long after that fateful day that has become known as "The Day The Music Died." It even seems to me, that The Big Bopper and Richie Valens (who were opening for Buddy on the road) became bigger stars after their tragedy.

Nonetheless, their music speaks an international language that to this day continues to get and keep the attention of an audience from 8 to 80 year-olds that can be seen dancing in the isles and in their seats.

While it was a sad day when these rock stars died it appears to have caught the attention of all music lovers from around the globe. Don't miss this golden opportunity to see this incredible Broadway Musical.

For more information and/or special group seating contact the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council at (325) 677-1161. This story of a young man whose musical career was too-brief but whose music will be remembered forever is a must-see play.
