The Mars rover 'Opportunity' took a lot of photos from the surface of the red planet. This video captures a chronological group of over 300 photos as the rover moved from Victoria Crater to Endeavor Crater. As the photos click by, you get a sense that the surface of Mars looks surprisingly similar to desert landscapes here on Earth. It's an amazing journey. Notice the rearward views show Opportunity's 'track' prints in the sand. Watch the video:
