Is Tipping At The Drive Thru Window In Abilene A Thing Now?
Hunger can strike at any time. If you're like me, you don't always have time to sit down for a meal when you want to. Fast food restaurants of all kinds stand at the ready. When I was younger and in college I practically lived off fast food. Even today, as I make much better food decisions, I still enjoy a tasty burrito or burger from one of Abilene's many drive-thru windows.
One thing I have noticed within the past couple months are the tip receptacles right there in the drive-thru window. Is this something new? Has tipping etiquette changed again? I bet I've visited literally hundreds of fast-food joints during my lifetime, and not once do I recall seeing a tip jar at a drive-thru window. I've always considered myself to be an outstanding tipper so if something has changed, I wanted to know.

I get it. We're all out there looking for that dollar. Gratuity is a big deal. It can really make an impact on income. Be sure to follow proper tipping etiquette and be generous when you can. That's what I try and do.
