‘Veronica Mars’ Movie: Watch the First Two Minutes of the Film Right Now!
However surreal it may seem that 'Veronica Mars' will be hitting movie theaters in a matter of days, there can be no doubt that casual fans of the series have plenty to catch up on before the beloved private investigator hits the silver screen. Never fear, Marshmallows, for the first two minutes of the film are available to watch right now, with a bit of catch-up for newbies!
Surely not all who come to adore the 'Veronica Mars' movie will have seen the series in its entirety (what are you waiting for?!), but thankfully, the opening narration of the film recaps the major beats of the series leading into the events of the film, as Kristen Bell narrates over footage from the series. “A teenage private eye. Trust me, I know how dumb that sounds,” Veronica tells us at first. “But it’s not like I found a decoder at the bottom of a cereal box and thought, ‘That sounds like fun.’ I wish. That would have been adorable.”
The feature-length continuation of the Kristen Bell-centric P.I. series will see big-city lawyer Veronica Mars returning to her hometown of Neptune, California, once former beau Logan (Jason Dohring) finds himself accused of murder. In addition to all the love-triangly goodness glimpsed in the recent trailer, the cast includes a number of old favorites from Tina Majorino, to ‘New Girl‘ star Max Greenfield, and even new player Jerry O’ Connell.
Also among those present for the historic revival are Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Krysten Ritter, Francis Capra (Weevil), Brandon Hillock (Deputy Sacks), Kevin Sheridan (Sean), Jonathan Chesner (Corny), Sam Huntington (Luke), Amanda Noret (Madison), Daran Norris (Cliff), Percy Daggs III (Wallace), and of course, Enrico Colantoni (Keith).
March 14 will see 'Veronica Mars' at long last back in action for the feature film, so check out the opening scene above, as well as the trailer below, and tell us what you want to see from our favorite Neptune P.I.'s big return!
