It seems like it all started with the pandemic. Covid-19 impacted all of us in one way or another. I think we all can agree on that. Doing business obviously is one of the things that changed the most. Companies and corporations worldwide were stunned and had to take measures to keep their workforce and lifeline alive.
Crowded office spaces were quickly discontinued in an effort to minimize the spread and keep employees healthy. Thus, the rise of remote working from home. Or anywhere for that matter. According to a Future Forum's Pulse report, 69% of those surveyed are either working fully remote or hybrid.
Furthermore, in recent research from Ladders, it's predicted that 25% of all professional jobs in North America will be fully remote by the end of 2022. The point here is that remote jobs are catching on and show no signs of slowing down. The only question that remains is, where are all these remote jobs?
