‘Why Pink Floyd’ Reissue Campaign Launched Today – September 27th [VIDEO]

The huge Pink Floyd reissue campaign is officially underway today, September 27th. Fans of the band can choose from multiple configurations to enjoy the legendary 'Dark Side Of The Moon', from a single remastered cd to an extensive 'immersion' version with rare concert performances and all kinds of ephemera in a deluxe package.

Pink Floyd's full catalog of cd's is also available singly or in a box set. The band and studio engineers have reportedly spent an incredible amount of time making sure these remastered versions are the absolute best they can be, in terms of sound quality and in faithfulness to the original artistic intent of the works.

The reissue campaign will continue into the Fall and Winter with vinyl editions of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' (available now), 'Wish You Were Here', and early next year 'The Wall'. It's amazing to me that all of the Pink Floyd albums on vinyl have been out of print for years, except for 'Dark Side'. Hopefully they'll go back and reissue 'Animals' on vinyl as well.
