25 Circus Lions Rescued By…Bob Barker?

It's true. In case you didn't know, game show host Bob Barker is a big animal rights activist. He bankrolled the rescue of 25 circus lions from Bolivia.

The airlift landed yesterday in Denver.

Barker paid about $200,000 to get the animals transported. They will live the rest of their lives in comfort at a Colorado animal sanctuary that houses lions, tigers, wolves, and bears.

As the animals were unloaded from the plane, Barker was there to greet them personally and said he was really excited to see them heading for a better life.
