Scientists have invented what is being called 'swallowable' perfume.  What will they think of next?  The 'perfume' will be in capsule form that, when swallowed, will emit 'unique' scents from the user.  From what I'm seeing, the scent might vary based on your body chemistry.  We're all different in that respect after all.

To quote the inventors, 'The potency of scent is determined by each individuals acclimatization to temperature, stress, exercise or sexual arousal . . . Once absorbed the skin becomes a platform, an atomizer; a biologically enhanced second skin synthesized directly from the natural processes of the body.'   OK.

I would have a few questions before using any of this perfume, the primary of which would be 'What's in it?'.  Followed closely by, 'Are any of the ingredients harmful when swallowed?'.....'Done any tests for carcinogenic properties?'...and probably a couple more.

I would think that since this particular product is to be ingested, the FDA would be involved before it could be made available.  Then again, a lot of the herbal products we take are not FDA vetted.  Would you use the product? You can view the website for the perfume at SwallowableParfum.com.
