George Harrison Documentary Premieres Tonight On HBO (October 5th) [VIDEO]

The new George Harrison documentary directed by Martin Scorsese: 'George Harrison: Living In The Material World' is set to premiere tonight (Oct 5th) on HBO. The 3 1/2 hour work will air in two parts. Part 1 tonight will focus on George's life from birth through the Beatles breakup in 1970. Tomorrow night is an in depth look at the life and music of George Harrison post Beatles.

All sources so far, including George's son Dhani Harrison say the documentary pulls no punches, and is a gritty honest look at the life and times of the 'quiet' Beatle. It goes into detail on his infidelities through the years, drug use, and of course the music good and bad.

Set the DVR and get ready. This one promises to be the best video bio ever done on George Harrison's too short life. He died at the age of 58 of cancer in 2001. Here's a video preview of the new documentary:
