Who is the highest paid actor in Hollywood according to Forbes magazine? The answer might surprise you. It's Leonardo DiCaprio. My immediate answer would have been Johnny Depp, but he dropped to number 2 this year. DiCaprio's success was largely due to movies like Shutter Island and Inception. And the numbers reflect total earnings from 2010, not the actor's price per movie. The top five, according to Forbes are:

2) Johnny Depp ($50 million)

3) Adam Sandler ($40 million)

Surprisingly Brad Pitt doesn't even come close to the top 5, earning $20 million. Brad actually got beat by Tim Allen (!) who raked in $22 million.
