Redneck Banking

Banks have had to get creative to attract customers in the wake of the economic downturn.  And there are a few that literally have gone all out to stand out from the crowd.

In Oklahoma City, one particular bank changed its name to Redneck Bank and they've got a website to match.  Banker Wade Huckaby says his online bank is an arm of Bank Of The Wichitas, and that the name was an attempt to different the website from thousands of other online banking operations.

I think he succeeded.  The website features a large braying donkey on the homepage, with their official slogan 'where bankin's funner'.  You click on an outhouse to access you accounts.  And the bank offers a 'flat out free checkin' account'.  Check it out for yourself at redneckbank.com.
