Rolling Stone Magazine Names Beach Boys ‘Smile Sessions’ Reissue Of The Year [VIDEO]

Rolling Stone magazine has named the Beach Boys 'Smile Sessions' album the top reissue of 2011.  The album assembles the legendary 'Smile' masterpiece in its original sequence from tapes locked away since Brian Wilson shelved the project in 1967.  The 'Smile Sessions' is available in multiple versions including a deluxe box set that includes the vinyl LP and two picture sleeve 45s, along with a hardcover book and multiple cds.

Beach Boys fans waited a long time for the release, and most never thought it would see the light of day in its original form.  Brian Wilson recorded a solo version of 'Smile' in 2004 that went on to win a Grammy.
