Secret Formula For Coca Cola Revealed?

A website called 'this american life' purports to have discovered the secret formula for Coca Cola.

If so, one of the best guarded secrets in history is now public. It's made a lot of news reports over the past two days.

Now Coca Cola has weighed in with an absolute denial that the released formula is correct. It is interesting to note on the website that they display two formulas which basically match perfectly. One of them is from Pemberton's notebook, possibly the handwritten original drug store formula....and the other dates from a document circa 1979.

The key ingredients giving Coke its flavor are known as 'Merchandise 7X', and according to lore are never known to more than two people within the company, neither of which has the entire list of ingredients. Check out the formula and see what you think at thisamericanlife.org
