Elton John is beginning the process of work on a new album to be released next year. He told Music Week in a recent interview that he has booked studio time for January, and that the new album will be comprised of songs written with Bernie Taupin. Elton said 'Bernie is writing as we speak and I just want to make an album of good songs.'

The band Yes is synonymous with the term 'art rock'. Their catalog of music typifies the genre from front to back. And out on Tuesday, July 12th, is their first new release in over a decade: 'Fly From Here'. As with many Yes albums, it is a concept piece. It reunites the band with Geoff Downes and Trevor Horn, who were behind the boards on the album '90125', their biggest seller.
