The Grammy Awards will be presented tonight (2/13), and I thought I would see who has the most of these coveted statuettes.

The list has a few surprises, including the all time champ. Most of these, however won't be that much of a surprise.

1) Georg Solti (1912-1997) holds the most Grammys with 31. He was conductor of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1969-1991 and won for many of their recordings.

2) Quincy Jones has 27 Grammys. Of course Q is best known for his work with Michael Jackson but he's got statues for jazz work with Miles Davis and others.

3) Alison Krauss 26 little gramophones. I wouldn't have picked her without seeing the list for myself. She's won for numerous bluegrass releases, but also for soundtracks like 'O Brother Where Art Thou'; and for her 2007 smash hit album with Robert Plant, 'Raising Sand'.

4) U2 (tie) has won 22, beginning with Album Of The Year for Joshua Tree in 1983...all the way up to 2006 for Best Rock Album 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb'. A large and long career for the legendary Irish band.

4) Stevie Wonder (tie) has 22 Grammys, just like U2. His career stretches back about two decades prior to u2's.

6) Vince Gill rounds out the top 6..or 5 depending on how you view the tie above. He's got 20 Grammys. His music encompasses a lot more than just 'country'. Vince's high lonesome sound has won him gramophones in the bluegrass category too. You wouldn't have guessed he would be the top winner in country music!

Rounding out the top 10 are Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Sturr (for polka music!), and Ray Charles. Special mentions to Michael Jackson (Thriller) and Carlos Santana (Supernatural) who share the honor of the most statues in one night....each got 8!

Catch the 53rd annual Grammy Awards this Sunday night (2/13) at 7pm on CBS.
