The Bronx Zoo's missing Egyptian cobras has been found. After going missing last weekend, the snake was found alive and well yesterday inside the reptile house, in a non-public area.

The Bronx Zoo director said that the key to fining the cobra was patience. The zoo used wood shavings from mouse bedding to lure the snake out of hiding. Apparently the wayward reptile got hungry enough to investigate.

No word on what might happen to the cobra's Twitter account, which garnered over 100,000 followers as the 'snake' tweeted some very clever messages while on the lam. Another tweet stating, "This is not over, wait and see what happens tomorrow, etc" has made the rounds across social networks.

It is seriously good news that they found the snake. Egyptian cobras are quite deadly, and even this 20-inch 'teenager' could be life threatening within a half hour of a bite.

Luckily there's no downside to this entertaining drama. The Bronx zoo couldn't ask for better publicity!  (via abcnews.go.com/missing-cobra-found)
