Jewel Doing Well After Auto Accident In Stephenville

Singer/Songwriter Jewel is recovering well after a frightening car accident on Friday, March 11th. She was hit near the front passenger door of her SUV by a fire truck responding to a fire in her hometown of Stephenville, Texas.

Jewel is pregnant and was rushed to the hospital. Luckily she only suffered some minor bruises. Mom and baby are doing just fine.

Jewel praised her Cadillac SRX vehicle for protecting her so well in what could have been much worse. The baby is actually due before the end of this month. It will be her first child with rodeo champion Ty Murray. We wish her well. (via www.mtv.com)
