‘Justice League Action’ Powers Up With First Trailer, New Cast
DC fans are expecting some big things from both TV and movies at Comic-Con 2016, and seeing as The Killing Joke might be a little too dark, young animation fans have something to look forward to as well. See DC’s best and brightest with a first official trailer for Cartoon Network’s Justice League Action, along with new cast announcements!
In addition to the trailer, and already-announced returns for original Batman voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, the new Justice League Action confirms among its voice cast Patton Oswalt (Space Cabby), Ken Jeong (Toyman), Hannibal Buress (Mr. Terrific), Diedrich Bader (Booster Gold), James Woods (Lex Luthor), Rachel Kimsey (Wonder Woman), Jason Lewis (Superman), John Dimmagio (Lobo), Sean Astin (Shazam), and even Legend of Korra star P.J. Byrne as Firestorm.
So reads the synopsis:
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.
Teen Titans Go! alum Sam Register will act as the show’s executive producer, along with Justice League and Batman Beyond vet Butch Lukic, Batman: The Animated Series’ Alan Burnett and Green Lantern: The Animated Series vet Jim Krieg as producers.
