Michael Vick Cancels Oprah Appearance

There's been quite a bit of buzz about Michael Vick's scheduled appearance on the Oprah show, but now it is off the board. Vick's representatives called and cancelled the February 24th guest slot.

I wondered why he agreed to do it anyway. They were going to talk about his prison stay, his work with the humane society, and other subjects that seem like old news now. My guess is that he thought about it and felt that enough had been said on all the subjects.

Whatever his past sins, Vick had a great football season and managed to stay out of the limelight for anything but his work on the field. Sometimes its best to move on, and maybe it is past time. David Arquette is the replacement guest by the way. You can see more on the story here at tv.msn.com .
