4 Reasons Why I’m Grateful This Thanksgiving
This is the time of year we all try and turn our thoughts toward being grateful for the blessings in our lives. These blessings can come in many forms. From loved ones to everyday circumstances, most of us indeed have things for which to be thankful.
I've made it no secret the Thanksgiving holiday is important to me. It was my father's favorite holiday and the older I get, I certainly see why. There are so many things in my life for which I feel thankful. As with most, I try to show gratitude throughout the year, not just at Thanksgiving. But when this time of year comes around I look forward to intentionally verbalizing my thanks.

As with many of us, family is everything to me. I know with complete certainty I would not be where I am in life without the love and guidance of my family.
Some friends are so close to us they might as well be family. I'm blessed to have several of these kinds of friends. For their presence I am truly thankful.
Let's face it, working at a radio station is just plain fun. The people you get to meet are my favorite part. Being able to entertain and inform folks on the daily is a great feeling. Plus, working with some of the best professionals in the industry is a definite perk. I've made some lifelong friends through my job.
Those who know me personally know I've had big health problems in the past. Thanks to some good decisions and guidance from great doctors, that's all behind me now. Every day you wake up is a good day to give thanks.
Again, practicing gratitude is a 365-day-a-year effort, but it's especially important during the month of November. So before you dive into that delicious Thanksgiving meal or sit down to watch that football game, take a moment to recognize your blessings.
