It turned out to be a false alarm, but tennis star Serena Williams reportedly locked herself in the 'panic room' of her luxurious Los Angeles home when a sports association drug tester arrived around 6 a.m. last Wednesday.  She apparently mistook the unannounced visitor as an intruder and called 911.

The drug tester stopped by for a urine sample as allowed by professional tennis' anti-doping policy. Police vacated the premises when the misunderstanding was sorted out.  There was no word as to whether Serena submitted to the test.

I understand the random nature of these tests, but I think I might be alarmed if someone showed up ringing my doorbell at 6 in the morning too.  Did Serena overreact?  What do you think?  (via msn.foxsports.com)
