Animal Planet Joins Search For Bigfoot

You expect to see animals on Animal Planet. Shows about domestic animals and wildlife are the stock in trade of the cable channel.

But now they're going to join the search for Bigfoot. The channel will send a camera crew to North Carolina to try to capture the legendary creature on video.

They are basing the search on footage captured by Michael Green of Salisbury, North Carolina, and they will join him on his continued quest to find Bigfoot.

What do you think? Will a show produced by Animal Plant give any more credibility to the existence of the elusive Sasquatch? At the very least it should be some entertaining tv. No air dates have been set. You can see additional info here. (via UPI.com)
