In a recent interview Brian Wilson said he is considering touring with the Beach Boys for their 50th anniversary. Previously he was opting out, but now he says there's nothing preventing him from doing it.

Brian is a little strange about these things and you could probably put the odds at about 50-50 at this point. It would be great if he does it. The surviving original members Mike Love, Al Jardine, and Brian Wilson haven't toured together for many years. Their personal relationships seem to be better these days so we can indeed hope for a reunion.

It all coincides with a big year for the Beach Boys and their fans. The 'Smile Sessions' release is scheduled for this fall, giving listeners their first chance to hear the original album fully produced and in sequence.

More information will be right here as the tour gets underway later this year. (via Gibson.com)
