Led Zeppelin Shirt Fetches $10,000 On Ebay

Rock memorabilia is getting expensive. A rare Led Zeppelin t-shirt sold last week on eBay for $10,000! The shirt was made in very limited quantities due to the fact that it was used to substitute for backstage passes during Led Zeppelin's 1979 tour.

The guy who owned the shirt and put it up for auction bought from the original company that produced it and paid $123. He said he thought he might have overpaid until he did some online research. It is apparently the rarest of any Led Zeppelin t-shirt. The one sold on eBay is one of very few that exist.

Still $10,000 is a LOT of money for a t-shirt. The buyer lives in Australia and remains anonymous. You can see more on the story at Gibson.com.
