TEXAS GHOST TOWN JAMS: 5 SPOOKY SONGS TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN

Thriller by Michael Jackson

This 1982 smash is a Halloween staple. This song is the complete package. With Vincent Price's eerie segment and the awesome music video featuring Michael as a werewolf among a horde of dancing zombies, "Thriller" captures the essence of Halloween in my book.

Monster Mash by Bobby "Boris" Pickett

Released back in 1962, "Monster Mash" has become a Halloween anthem. The song tells the story of a mad scientist whose monster comes to life and performs a dance, the "Monster Mash". This one is a favorite for all ages because of its catchy beat and spooky lyrics.

Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.

"Ghostbusters", the theme song for the 1984 movie of the same name, is another Halloween favorite. Its upbeat tempo and catchy chorus make it a fun sing-along for any party.

Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell

"Somebody's Watching Me" captures the paranoia and fear associated with Halloween, with its eerie synth riff and lyrics. It's a great one to play at any Halloween party.

I Put a Spell On You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins

This 1956 bluesy track has a certain type of spooky charm. With its raw vocals and emotion, "I Put a Spell On You" has been covered by many different artists, but the original by Screamin' Jay Hawkins remains the masterpiece.

As you prep for Halloween, try adding these classic songs to your playlist. Whether you're hosting a party or simply want to get in the spine-tingling spirit, these songs are sure to do the trick. So grab your pumpkin latte, put on your costume, and crank up those spooky tunes.
