Royal Wedding Hat Hits $27,000 On Ebay

The Phillip Treacy hat worn by Princess Beatrice at the recent Royal Wedding is on eBay, and with two days to go as of this writing, has hit over $27,000!

The hat caused quite a stir due to it's intricate and some say outlandish design. It really should have it's own zip code. No doubt it will go much higher by the end of the auction this Sunday (May 22nd).

Princess Beatrice seems pleased at all the attention the hat is getting and has stated on the site that she hopes that the auction winner 'will have as much fun with the hat as I have'.
